It all started when my mother and grandmother taught me how to sew at an early age. I come from 5 generations of designers and seamstresses. I worked on Saturdays (paid by donuts) at my mothers fabric and design center in Washington DC.  My first paid job was at a fabric store, where I would take on sewing jobs and honed my craft. This love of fabric has never left me, even as I grew my design business, fabrics have always been dear to my heart.

When 3 of our 4 b
edrooms were filled with design samples, fabrics, rugs and sewing equipment we knew it was time to expand to a proper showroom and in 2015 Selah Design Studio was born. We now have over 5000 square feet of showroom, offices, workroom and warehouse space and are excited for the growth yet to come.
